Indy Robot Racing Team (volunteer)—January 2005-Present
I serve as the E-writer and PR Project Writer on Marketing Group of the Indy Robot Racing Team, a project led by technology entrepreneur Scott Jones. In 2005, the Marketing team raised $150,000 in sponsorship funds and secured IUPUI, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Purdue University as sponsors. All projects were under the direction of Joy Fischer and graphics support of Brandon Fischer of BlueFisch Communications.

Galyan’s Sports and Outdoor
I worked at the retail sporting goods chain (and Indiana success story) as their print copywriter from 2001 until they closed their doors in 2004. During that time, I gained experience creating Sunday paper inserts, catalogs, direct mailers, signage, E-mail notices, radio scripts, and on-hold messages.

Fund-raising charity project and web page
Ran web site, organized auction events, and conducted other administrative tasks to appeal to fans of pop star Cyndi Lauper, and successfully raised $3,000 for the care of Mary Kay Woolsey, fellow fan and breast cancer survivor. Although the website no longer exists, I saved some screen shots, which can be viewed here. (Special thanks Kathy Campus for her help in designing the charity website as well as designing www.copybob.com.)
